Background: Enter/Exit NJ Turnpike as far north as possible to save on tolls and bypass traffic.

Watch For: Local speed limits. Gas station on southbound Route 206 is a good place for pit stop. When on I-295 west of Philadelphia follow signs to stay on I-295. Be careful when joining NJ Turnpike entrance ramp.  

Detour: After crossing Delaware Memorial Bridge bear right onto I-295 North. Take Exit 56 Rising Sun Road south and make left onto Route 660 and then left onto Route 206. Follow signs for NJ Turnpike North (Exit 7).
